Executive Summary: Karma of Intentionally Humiliating and Shaming Others

A case study from the Dream in Dream Kindergarten exposing the devastating doom of bullying and public shaming. Toxic individuals who publicly humiliate others, mock their insecurities, or engage in cyberbullying guarantee they will suffer ultimate humiliation in hell, be born with highly embarrassing physical conditions, and face catastrophic public cancellation in future lifetimes.

1. The Executioner of Dignity

In a past life, this man was a highly toxic manager driven by a massive, fragile ego. Whenever an employee or peer made a minor mistake, rather than offering private feedback, he intentionally “Verbally Abused and Publicly Humiliated Them in Front of Massive Crowds.” He would also post embarrassing secrets or mistakes on social media purely to shame them and assert his dominance. Furthermore, he mercilessly mocked people for their physical flaws, poverty, or lack of education. He completely destroyed his victims’ self-worth, causing many to suffer severe depression and social anxiety. Using words as weapons to intentionally strip away a human being’s dignity and honor is a severe, highly corrosive violation of the 4th Precept.

2. The Retribution of Karma

  • The 4th Major Hell (Roruva Naraka): The instant he died, his toxic sins dragged him straight into Roruva Naraka. Hell wardens stripped him naked and dragged him into the center of a hellish arena. Surrounded by millions of jeering, mocking demons, he was relentlessly laughed at and publicly humiliated while red-hot tongs ripped out his tongue. He suffered absolute, paralyzing psychological terror and physical mutilation for millions of eons, paying the exact price for destroying the dignity of others.
  • Embarrassing Physical Deformities and Chronic Odor: When the karma permits a human rebirth, the curse of humiliation actively mutilates his biology. He is karmically guaranteed to be born with a “Highly Embarrassing, Incurable Physical Condition.” He may suffer from extreme, incurable body odor (Bromatidrosis), severe facial disfigurements, or embarrassing involuntary tics. He will be mocked, bullied, and treated as the “village idiot” from childhood to adulthood.
  • Catastrophic Public Shaming and Cancellation: The karmic echo of cyberbullying will ultimately destroy his reputation. He will eventually become the target of “Catastrophic Public Humiliation and Cancel Culture.” He will be falsely accused or publicly shamed on a massive scale for things he did not do. He will lose his job, his friends, and face the exact soul-crushing humiliation he once inflicted on his victims, with absolutely nowhere to hide.

3. Spiritual Solutions

Luang Por Dhammajayo issues a profound warning: “Tearing down another person’s face ensures your own face will be covered in scars.” Bullying, mocking, and public shaming are toxic acts that guarantee a life of intense social anxiety and physical embarrassment. Anyone who actively bullies others, publicly berates employees, or participates in toxic cancel culture online must immediately delete their posts and apologize to their victims. To desperately attempt to mitigate this terrifying curse of humiliation, they must aggressively practice “Praising the Virtues of Others in Public, Defending Victims of Bullying, and Practicing Intense Metta (Loving-kindness).” Only by actively protecting the dignity of others can they hope to restore their own karmic honor.
