1. The Plunderer of Trust

In a past life, this man was a major wholesale merchant for fruit and meat, but he was driven by intense greed and deceit. He deliberately and systematically “Manipulated his Scales” (rigging the weights) so the display always showed a heavier weight than reality. Customers paid full price but were consistently shortchanged on the product. Furthermore, he routinely practiced “Bait and Switch,” hiding rotting, spoiled goods at the bottom of the crates and covering them with premium items on top. • Constant Victim of Scams and Financial Hemorrhaging (Vibati Sombat): The karmic wheel guarantees absolute retribution. Whenever he engages in business, signs a contract, or makes a purchase, he is karmically doomed to be “Blatantly Scammed.” Partners will embezzle from him, online purchases will be fraudulent, and his investments will vanish. His wealth will violently hemorrhage from his life, ensuring he can never maintain any financial stability.
• Zero Credibility and Complete Isolation: Because he previously plundered the trust of thousands, he is cursed with zero societal credit. Absolutely no one will trust him, want to partner with him, or believe his words. He will face extreme difficulty earning a living, suffocated by an aura of untrustworthiness that repels all prosperity.

3. Spiritual Solutions

Luang Por Dhammajayo sternly warns that conducting business with absolute honesty is the only path to sustainable, cross-lifetime prosperity. Rigging a scale or shortchanging a customer may yield a tiny extra profit today, but it is literally stealing from your own future and setting your destiny on fire. Anyone who has ever engaged in retail fraud, rigged measurements, or practiced bait-and-switch must stop immediately and destroy their rigged tools. They must flawlessly observe the 2nd (No Stealing) and 4th (No Lying) Precepts. To desperately counter this karma, they must aggressively offer premium, overflowing, and completely honest alms and Sanghadana to the monastic community, attempting to restore the karmic balance they willfully destroyed.
