Case Study: Karma of Causing and Forcing Abortions

1. The Executioner of the Unborn

In a past life, this man was a wealthy but reckless playboy. Whenever he recklessly impregnated his partners, he entirely refused to take responsibility. Instead, he violently “Threatened and Forced the Women to Get Abortions.” He paid for the illicit procedures and coldly abandoned them if they refused. By actively funding, encouraging, and forcing the termination of a human pregnancy, he committed an incredibly severe form of Panatipata (Murder). He mercilessly destroyed the physical vessel of an incoming soul, denying them the rare opportunity to be born as a human and practice the Dhamma. This generates a massive, highly radioactive cloud of vengeful karma from the aborted souls.

2. The Retribution of Karma

• The 1st Major Hell (Sanjiva Naraka): The instant he died, his massive sins of murder dragged his soul straight into Sanjiva Naraka. Monstrous hell wardens, resembling terrifying giant infants, used massive, razor-sharp medical forceps to brutally crush, dismember, and extract his organs while he was still alive. He died in agonizing pain, only to be resurrected and subjected to this violent mutilation for millions of eons, mirroring the exact procedure he forced upon the unborn.
• Extreme Short Lifespan and Severe Congenital Diseases: When the karma permits a human rebirth, the curse of cutting a life short severely restricts his own. He is karmically guaranteed to suffer from an “Extremely Short Lifespan.” He is highly likely to be miscarried himself, or die in early childhood. If he survives, he will be born with “Severe, Incurable Congenital Diseases,” spending his entire short life in and out of hospitals.
• Absolute Infertility and Psychological Haunting: The karmic wheel executes flawless poetic justice. Because he destroyed the lineage of life, he will be “Completely Infertile and Unable to Have Children.” No matter how much money he spends on IVF or medical treatments, he will never have an heir. Furthermore, he will be plagued by “Severe Night Terrors, Sleep Paralysis, and Crushing Guilt,” constantly haunted by the vengeful metaphysical energy of the lives he destroyed.

3. Spiritual Solutions

Luang Por Dhammajayo issues a terrifying warning: “The surgical tools you pay for today are the demonic blades that will dismember you in hell tomorrow.” Abortion—whether undergoing it, forcing it, or paying for it—is a massive violation of the 1st Precept. Anyone who has made this tragic mistake must never do it again. Do not resort to fake “karma clearing” rituals. To desperately attempt to mitigate this terrifying curse of premature death, they must aggressively “Sponsor the Release of Large Pregnant Animals (Cattle), Fund the Construction of Buddha Statues, Sponsor Mass Ordinations, and Practice Intense Samadhi.” They must dedicate all this supreme merit directly to the souls of the aborted children, begging for absolute forgiveness to slightly heal their own doomed, shortened destiny.
