2-Minute Dhamma — Actionable Buddhist wisdom and practical meditation guidance for inner peace in daily life by Luang Por Dhammajayo (Wat Phra Dhammakaya).

“Stopping… Is The Key To Success”
“Worldly success demands that you chase, struggle, and exhaust yourself. Yet spiritual success unfolds in the exact opposite direction: the more you stop, the more stillness and radiance arise. Remember this golden principle: ‘Stopping is the key to success.’ When the mind comes to a complete standstill at the Seventh Base of the body, true boundless happiness springs forth on its own.”
— Luang Por Dhammajayo

How to Release Stress and Reset Your Mind in 2 Minutes

  1. Deep Gentle Inhale: Gently close your eyes softly as if falling asleep. Relax every muscle throughout your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Let go of all worldly burdens momentarily.
  2. Anchor Awareness at the Center: Place your gentle attention at the center of the body, two finger-breadths above the navel. Lightly visualize a pure crystal sphere or clear Buddha image resting silently within.
  3. Repeat the Soothing Mantra: Silently repeat the calming mantra “Samma Arahang… Samma Arahang… Samma Arahang” in your mind with total ease and non-effort for just 2 uninterrupted minutes.

In just 2 minutes of genuine stillness, your mental faculties recharge completely. Stress dissolves, mental clarity returns, and you gain the inner strength to handle any challenge with grace and wisdom.
