EP.23 : Radiating Loving-Kindness and Making Aspirations
Let everyone receive this stream of merit, and let purity and happiness arise in the mind. Widen it to cover our home, our neighbours, throughout the village, the district. May all living beings have only happiness and prosperity, free from sorrow, grief, illness, danger and all things that are not good.
Widen it to cover the district, the province, the country, neighbouring countries, this entire world. May this world be clear as glass, as a diamond.
May everyone be at ease in body and mind, may they attain the Triple Gem within. May they have love and goodwill for one another, free from mutual suspicion, free from enmity toward one another, free from conflict. May there be only love and goodwill for one another.
Then we make a mental aspiration, by the power of all these merits, down to the merit of cultivating concentration and meditation, that we may be complete with the beauty of form, wealth, virtues, gains, honour, praises and happiness, the path, the fruits and Nibbana, the Vijja Dhammakaya. When born, may we be able to recall past lives, may we see the Dhamma from a young age, building parami on and on until the end of our lifespan, in every realm, every life, until we reach the very end of the Dhamma.
