EP.12 : The Dhamma Body Within the Womb
Luang Por teaches that we should let go of everything, releasing all things, and the mind will come to stop still, soft and gentle, at the centre of the body, base 7, in the middle of the abdomen about two finger-widths above the navel. This position is therefore important — it is where our mind stops, and where the minds of everyone stop.
Because it is the pathway to freedom from the defilements and mental fermentations that are the cause of the suffering of life. Stopping still until it is just right, one goes to centre and reaches the inner dharma sphere. It arises as a clear, bright sphere — small as a star in the sky, medium as the moon on a full-moon night, large as the midday sun, clear and pure like a polished jewel with no flaw whatsoever.
This sphere is called the “path-moment sphere,” or the sphere of dhammānupassanā satipaṭṭhāna — the initial purity that can be seen, felt, and attained. It is accompanied by a happiness and a great purity never experienced before. It is a happiness that wealth and status and praise cannot give, a happiness that is free and vast.
