Easy but Deep 2 EP.96: You Do Not Need to Know Every Answer Today

There are moments in life when people ask, “What will you do next?” or “Are you sure this is the right path?” The pressure can feel heavy when we do not have a clear answer.

But life does not require us to know the whole journey before taking the next step. Some answers only become visible after we begin walking.

Not Knowing Does Not Mean You Are Lost

We may not know where the final destination is, yet we can still know what needs to be done today: our responsibilities, the people we should care for, and the good causes we can create.

A Dhamma Perspective: See the Present Clearly

The mind suffers when it tries to force the future to become certain before the causes and conditions have unfolded. Being able to say, “I do not know yet,” is a form of honesty. It also keeps us from creating fear around things that have not happened.

What You Can Do Today

  • Separate what you know from what you do not know.
  • Choose one matter that is within your responsibility.
  • Take one small step without demanding to see the whole destination.
  • When new information appears, adjust your direction mindfully.

One Good Thing Today

You do not have to answer every question about your life today. Answer just one: “What is the next good thing I can do?” Then do it well.

Come Back Tomorrow

Some answers do not come from thinking harder. They come from living mindfully and steadily creating good causes. In time, the path becomes clearer.
