Fear does not always protect us. Sometimes it makes us step away from something good that is worth trying. EP.239 invites us to distinguish real risks from fear that simply keeps us from taking a step.
Fear Does Not Mean Something Is Wrong
Feeling afraid is natural, but fear is not proof that the path ahead will turn out badly.
Be Careful Mindfully, Then Move Forward
We do not need to be reckless. We can assess the real risks and take the appropriate precautions while doing what we reasonably can.
A Dhamma Perspective
Mindfulness lets us see fear as it is, without making the story larger than reality or allowing fear to decide in place of wisdom.
What You Can Do Today
Choose one good thing you want to do but have been hesitating about. Break it into the smallest safe step and begin today.
One Good Thing Today
Have the courage to do what is right even while some fear remains in your heart.
Come Back Tomorrow
Courage does not mean having no fear. It means refusing to let fear stop us from doing what is good.
