Return to the mind’s center
In this meditation approach, the center of the body at Base 7 is used as an important reference point for placing the mind comfortably and allowing stillness to develop. The practice is not about forcing an image, but gently returning the mind to its chosen point.
When the mind wanders, notice and return. When it becomes tense, relax. When nothing seems to happen, do not rush. Repeated practice with ease helps the mind become familiar with stillness.
Simple principles
- Make the body comfortable.
- Relax the body and mental tension.
- Place the mind gently at the center of the body.
- Practice consistently without pressuring yourself.
Progress is not measured by dramatic experiences, but by increasing calmness, steadiness, and refinement of the mind.
