Meditation has days when the mind settles easily and days when it feels restless. Sometimes nothing seems to happen; sometimes unfamiliar experiences arise. None of these should become a reason to abandon the practice.
When Practice Does Not Go as Expected
Instead of deciding that we cannot meditate, return to the basics. Is the body comfortable? Are the eyes relaxed? Are we trying too hard or demanding an experience?
Consistency Matters More Than Speed
Good practice does not need to be tense. Follow the principles appropriately, keep practicing, and return each time the mind wanders. Familiarity grows through repetition.
Key reflection: Do not measure progress by one meditation session. Measure it by your willingness to return to correct practice with patience and consistency.
