EP.21 : When Still, It Must Expand

If we know how to be still, it will expand. If we don’t know how to be still, it becomes narrow. That narrow stillness happens when we try too hard — pressing and squeezing, squeezing our own mind. This goes against the principle of true knowledge (vijja). Please don’t stubbornly force it and carry on. When it is still, it must expand — we must feel at ease, even though we may not yet see anything.
