Meditation does not depend only on how inspired we feel on a particular day. It depends on returning to practice again and again with consistency.
Another obstacle is wanting results too much. The more we demand quick progress, the more the mind waits, checks, and evaluates itself. The comfort needed for meditation can disappear.
A simpler way is to create the right causes consistently: sit comfortably, maintain awareness, and do not rush the result. Repetition gradually makes practice familiar and natural.
Progress is therefore not measured only by a special experience. It is also measured by how often we can return to a balanced and correct way of placing the mind.
