Easy but Deep 2 EP.24: First Priority — Ourselves

EP.24 : First Priority — Ourselves

Please don’t hurry to die just yet. Find the Dhamma body within — the Triple Gem within — first. Don’t let days and nights pass by without the mind coming to stop and be still right here. We have already wasted so much time on things that are not the essence of life. The time that remains is limited — we do not know on which day we will run out of time, there is no sign at all. The remaining time should be given importance for training the mind to become still, without any conditions, excuses, or strings attached whatsoever — for ourselves first, and then for others as the next step. This is what we must keep contemplating and reflecting on, whether we are lay people or monastics.
